When someone tells you a Bunny is a Dwarf Lop be very careful!! A Dwarf Lop is not a smaller version of a Mini Lop! A Dwarf Lop is actually a breed in itself and surprisingly they are larger than the Mini Lop. A Mini Lop with a Dwarf gene is a Dwarf Mini Lop. This can be very confusing to people who don't know about different rabbit breeds. Below is 2 photos 1 (as you may recognise) is 2 babies from honeys Litter these are Mini Lop cross Mini Lion Lop babies. The Dwarf gene has been passed to the tiny mini lop looking baby making it half the size, they are still exactly the same as a Mini Lop just tiny. The other photo is a Black Chinchilla Bunny that was sold to me as a Mini Lop when actually there's nothing Mini Lop about her she's a Dwarf Lop. Hope that helps any questions feel free to ask đ
